FCC decides Comcast is wrong for blocking traffic

http://iphone.foxnews.com/story/98/396101-FCC-Comcast-Wrong-to-Block-Internet-Traffic.html

There are a couple of things wrong about this ruling. First the fact that the FCC is interveining in the policies of a corporation. This suspiciously like a socialist stars where part parts of industry is controlled/owned by the government. While I don't like the Comcast policy, I don't like the government stepping in more.

Secondly, instead of targeting individuals, why not block traffic based in service levels. If the performance of my internet connection is being impacted by someone running a P2P network, heck yah block them, but don't block them just because they are consuming more bandwith compared to a typical user.
