1Password - Finally, a password manager worth your attention
To say I spend a lot of time on the Internet is an understatement. But, my browsing habits do not include trying to find cool "themes" for my browsers or the latest plugins...until now.
One of the biggest beefs I have with browsers and the millions of websites out there is that everyone wants you to register for their website and want you to create a password. Now that I'm addicted to Macs hook, line, and sinker, I found the 1Password application which is the most useful password manager on the market. Why? Because as you add your user names and passwords to web sites to the application, it syncs those with my iPhone. So, as I browse the same sites on my iPhone, I can launch the 1Password application from the bookmarks menu in the browser, type in a "global" password, and it will fill in the user name and password for me!
This is an amazing time saver. As I said, I've spend a lot of time on the internet and I know the shortcomings of challenge/response security systems. Namely, they are only as good as the password you provide. Therefore, I create very complex passwords after 10+ characters long. Typing them on a laptop isn't an issue, but to do it on the iPhone, it's a hassell. Give 1Password a try, I think you'll like it.
